Healthcare Hospital Staff Roster

Scheduling the availability of Healthcare staff is essential to run a healthcare facility 24 hours a day and 7 days a week all year round. Our client needed maintenance on such a solution that creates weekly rosters for their staff at the hospital.

Staff can indicate their available timeslots in the system. An automatic algorithm looks at all the timeslots of the staff to determine the best feasible roster. This automatic roster is further edited by the admin and finalised for the upcoming week. In the system the admin is able to assign staff to on duty timeslots. Once a weekly roster is submitted then Text Messages go out to the Staff. In case any staff person requires to reschedule their roster time then updates to the roster are communicated to the scheduled staff members using Text Messages. The system is also integrated with Pagers for communication with the emergency staff. Notifications are sent out to staff to join early or extended shift in case the immediate nest person in the shift has called in for a reschedule.
